Our products are designed to be slim fit for safe sleeping. So, for those babies blessed with a bit more length or those adorable baby rolls, we recommend sizing up.
Examples
Here are a few examples to illustrate sizing, based on our Pajama Romper size guide:
- Baby A is 4 months old, 25” tall, and tips the scales at 17 pounds. We'd say the 3-6 month size is your best bet.
- Baby B, also 4 months, stretches out to 27” and weighs in at 19 pounds. For this little one, the 6-12 month size would be ideal.
- Baby C, at 14 months, stands 32” tall and weighs 28 pounds. The 18-24 month size would be perfect.
- Baby D, an 8-month-old, is 26” long and 16 pounds. The 6-12 month size would suit them wonderfully, even if they're on the slimmer side, thanks to our snug fit.

Shopping for a New Arrival?
If you're picking out something for a baby yet to make their grand entrance, starting with the 0-3 month size is a smart move. It's likely to fit from birth right up to their 6-month milestone - talk about a thoughtful gift!
Or, you could opt for the 3-6 month size, which many babies can start wearing a bit earlier than 3 months and might continue to wear up to their first year and beyond.
One tip to simplify your baby’s wardrobe is to not buy all the sizes. For example, if you’re shopping for your unborn child, you don’t need to buy sizes 0-3, 3-6, and 6-12 from us. If you buy size 0-3, you can skip size 3-6 altogether. If you buy size 3-6, you can skip size 6-12.
Buying a Gift?
If you’re shopping for a loved little one in your life, but aren’t sure of their exact weight and size, we recommend staying true to their age. It is also a good idea to ask the parent of who you are buying for what size they want for their baby. They may already have enough in one size and want a different size. Another option would be to buy a gift card so the parents can choose themselves.
